lastcow > Right Leg of the M-shaped Fort Lamar. The battle lasted three hours with 487 wounded, 107 killed and 89 missing Federals. The Confederates suffered 204 causalities, 144 wounded, 52 killed and 8 missing. My wife, Karen's Great Great Great Grandfather James B. T. Johnson may have fought here in Co. B 2nd Regt. South Carolina Artillery.
